a month agoDefinition of a hidden gem. Been coming last year when I’m craving biryani. Happy they are getting recognition increasing by the month As the economy is increasing , I notice they increase the price but in a fair justified price . The portions how much is crazy big making u full and still has left over for the price. Place Beats every Indian/pakistani restaurant that sell their small biryani in Cypress .

5 months agoMy family did a catering order for a home dinner party with Cypress Biryani and more. We ordered their Beef Haleem, Beef Nihari, Chicken Biryani and eggplant curry dish. The quality of the food was truly delicious. My wife loved the Haleem as did I and it received tons of positive praise. The Biryani was also a crowd pleaser at the party. Not too spicy but rich with masala and flavor. All of the prices here are very reasonable and I appreciated that they prepared everything on time. My only feedback is to sell fresh prepared naan as well for their customers as I needed to purchase the naan elsewhere. I’m looking forward to having their food again in the future iA.

6 months agoI enjoyed the chicken biryani which is incredibly flavorful and perfectly spiced. The owner is very nice and friendly. I’ll come back again soon to get a larger tray for my family.

7 months agoCame in for Saturday for Halwa Puri brunch; it was nice. It’s a new “little hole in the wall” restaurant inside of Cypress Halal Grocery store being run by a little family. Please try them out. We’ve had their samosas; they were awesome; full of flavor!!

8 months agoThis restaurant is located inside of a clean grocery store, making it a one stop shop. I moved to cypress few months ago and have been home sick for a meal made with my mom’s hands. I tried many Pakistani restaurants but non compare to how the meal tasted from here. I got chicken biryani, achari chicken, and beef shami kabob. Everything was absolutely delicious and reminded me of my mom’s cooking. The staff is patient and friendly. I highly recommend this hidden treasure to anyone seeking for authentic cuisine made with love.

9 months agoThe food is really good and will go back! Word of advice to those not familiar with Pakistani culture. The chicken Briyani does not include the kebab (like one of the pics appeared it did). The Briyani portion size is very large. Next time, I’ll order one chicken Briyani and a couple of kebabs to feed two adults.

10 months agoSuch a delightful and amazingly tasty food. 100% Halal and tasty. The owners are very polite and friendly. We tried biryani, palak gost and Kebabs. The spice level was perfect. We will surely comeback when we in the area.
